“The past week the water has been sitting at 5-7 INS at Logie Mill and whilst that alone isnt too bad there has been a lack of fish running in any numbers. Some beats are still seeing some but they are not hanging about! As regards to flies try smaller tubes in the usual patterns, Pert shrimp and Willie gunn. Also dressed doubles in cascade and allys could work again in smaller sizes. Switch rods and long leaders will be the way to go just now till things change again. The lower beats will be best bet just now and often early evening when the sun is off the water!”
