It is Hard Work
At the moment with a very small rise at the being of last week which did little to move fish apart from muck up the water. There are fish in both rivers with a few more coming off last week, though it was hard work to get the few where caught. The east wind has not helped and combine that with the low presure make fishing rather tricky. “If you can wait and not be tired by waiting” then I am sure you will have success, put in the hours and fish hard.
Rain
We had a little rain on Monday of this week which hardly moved the river, it seems to have brought some fish so I hear, so fingers crossed for next week, hopefully we will have a full report with plenty of fish?
The Week ahead
The out sounding to like a broken record stealth is the name of the game. Put away the big rods and big flies. Small flies and the hitch seem to be moving a lot of fish, the trick is to keep them on. Collie Dogs and Sunrays are always worth a cast fished square and fast and keep your deep wading to a minimum, crashing about like hippos will have every fish in the neighborhood putting thier heads down.
